Between Darwin (15) and Mo (12) they have missed 27 very big chances which obviously makes a massive difference to our results. Having said that, I actually think they are beginning to work very well together and are creating chances for each other. Darwin’s marginal offside goal was exceptional. Brentford’s opening goal which was against the run of play typified our luck at the moment and well and truly put us on the back foot against a resurgent Brentford team. A hangover from last seasons endeavours is clearly having a negative affect. Age is a problem. Injuries haven’t helped yet again. FSG’s only mistake in my humble opinion is perhaps not bringing in more players after winning the league and the CL.

It’s very easy to criticise but let’s not forget what the team and club very nearly achieved last season and for that reason alone I am certainly not going to castigate anybody with the sort of comments on here that I would expect from a five year old !!
