Somehow LFC team managed to come good in the end, the team selection was awful to start with, especially including Keita and Salah, and the latter has been poor for months, he does not worth a new contract! it was wrong to take off Jota at halftime instead it should be Salah, Mind you Trent had a very bad game defensibly. The rest of the players have played well in the second half, especially Fabinho, Thiago, and Mane.

Good Luck Lads against Spurs

Fatigue is a major factor. Mo, TAA, Robbo.. these guys are running on fumes.

Liverpool have scored 139 times in 57 games this season. Fifty seven games down and six to go. The first ever English team to reach all three cup finals and also the team that has now gone the furthest in pursuit of the quadruple overtaking Chelsea from 2006/07 when they lost the Champions League semi final to Liverpool.

Klopp has to nurse this team through to the end...

Well that was different !!  Personally I think we basically looked very nervy in the first half. Villareal in all fairness pressed the absolute hell out Liverpool and did it very well. A half time calm down talk and bringing on Diaz made a massive difference. Mojo resumed and we put them under a lot of pressure which inevitably led to mistakes. As for the final I’m not to bothered who we get. I would love to stuff either of the sh1ts !!

Awesome 2nd half performance from the lads, goes to show to have got mental strength and characters in the team. Well done lads off to another UCL final, 3rd in 5 years!!!!  I really hope we win, would be sweet if it is either Real or City for specific reasons. Personally I'd prefer if Real go through as City are a complete different ball game and also the pain of potentially losing to them in EPL and UCL would be poison.

Who would you guys prefer in the final????????????????

I'd prefer Real Madrid 100%.
If City win it would be such a  huge moment for them historically we'd never hear the last of it, Paris 2022 would end up like Anfield 89 for Arsenal fans but only about 1000 times worse.

Would definitely prefer Real Madrid. They know how to win a CL final that's for sure, but City is really the only team I can say might be better than us atm. I'd hate it if either of them wins it though so we must make sure they don't.

That could mentally and physically kill City for the title run in.

City out after playing 120 minutes of football. Don't know if Real will be an easier opponent but I hope at least this will have a negative effect on City in the league and that they'll bottle it in a similar manner.

The thing about facing RM is that many of our players will want pay back.

The have knack for winning the damn thing though. They've won it 4 times in the last 8 years, this will be their 5th final in 9 years. Those are crazy numbers, most fans wait a lifetime to see one or two finals of their team while these are there on a regular basis. I feel we're the better team but they know how to win CL finals, plus it's like it's written in the stars for them this season with the number of comebacks they've had. I still prefer them over City but only slightly.

Could not have wished for a better result. City will be in bits after that physically and mentally.

I'm sensing a collapse in form and Pep to quit at the end of the season...
