Just shows how VVD keeps them holding the line and with all the changes they are a bit sloppy

FT 3-3 (6-4 agg) and we are off to the semis

This game also show why Gomez is not featured more often...twice he was the player that played the goalscorers on...lacking in focus is a liability that will cost us much especially when we play a very high line

Well that turned a bit messy, that defence should be for Carabou cup only

This Nunez boy is surely a good fit in our team...sharp, good work rate and quick.

Meanwhile Simeone is up on his usual antics again

Nice to see them getting a taste of their own medicine for a change. Would have been nice if that game went to extra time though, tire City some more for Saturday.

As for our game, a bit sloppy in defence but it was kinda expected since it was already pretty much over when we scored the third. Key thing is we go to the semis.

We were comfortable, few leaky goals towards end but nothing that worried us.
I'd love to see how that Nunez lad would do with Klopp, very very promising.

So potentially another English final, have we ever had back to back English finals in Europe??

Villareal will be an interesting test but confident we will get to the final and preferably face Real.

The team lineup slightly worried me before the game.. it was a huge risk, but we got the job done comfortably with no injuries. Now we have a full squad fit and ready to go Saturday.

City had to play a full strength team in a hostile game.. players were getting kicked, headbutted, dragged off the pitch. De Bruyne and Kyle Walker went off injured aswell. It was a horrible game to be involved in as it always is away at Atletico, but selfishly it benefits our hope for the weekend game.

Ok that was entertaining and going through was never in doubt. Certainly agree that Nunez could be an interesting purchase especially if Mo doesn’t sign a new contract.

Awful game especially in the defense department we have now conceded 5 goals in two games, and if we defend like that against City in the FA cup, we will be out!
LFC is trying to give Salah a huge contract it is total madness!  whereas we can buy Nunez who is a better and more feasible replacement, M.United and Arsenal are very much after him. When was the last time Salah scored from open play?

Good Luck Lads

Last nights back 4 lacked leadership. Joe, Matip, Konate and the Greek - not a single leader amongst them to run the show.
Keita put in half a shift but too little, too late for me. Milly tries his best but he can't play this fast style of football any more.
Front 3 were fine but Mo's head is down, don't understand why they brought him and Sadio on. Good to see Bobby net a couple.
Stroll in the park compared with what City went through.
Lets hope our lads have the upper hand on sat'dee and City are tired.
