Yes, we always seem to be after a break. They seem to be back in pre-season mode.

Diaz an assist within 10 mins of his first game. Great to see Elliot back.

Not bad being able to bring on Elliott, Diaz, Thiago, Robbo in as a sub...all while we have Mo, Sadio, Fab and Ali in action in another continent

f*ck me, Diaz gave us a scare there near the end, holding his knee on the floor in pain and everything. Lucky it turned out to be nothing. Good 30 minutes for him, with an assist.

Anyway, good run out for our main guys after the break, we're always a bit leggy after coming back from a rest so it's good that it was against a side like Cardiff. Great to see Elliot back in action, his goal was definitely the best part of the match for me.

First of all it was nice to see us put a decent side out and give this competition the respect it deserves, as for the game itself first 45 wasn’t great but we improved second half. Looking at the cameo performances of Elliot, Diaz and Thiago from the bench if everyone was fit it would be interesting to see what Jurgen now considers his best XI. Some tough decisions.

Lacklustre first half. Lots of quality in the second half displaying a real strength in depth which we’re going to need to fight in all four competitions. Typical assist from Trent for Diogo  to finish with a brilliant header. Excellent performance from young Harvey with a superbly taken goal. Kelleher took a daft chance and was lucky to stay on but overall he is very solid.

Yeah Kelleher was lucky to stay on there, it was completely accidental and maybe it was that what saved him but the decision could have easily gone the other way.
