Great win with so many changes, I thought the Ox was back to his best last night. Can't believe how far Milan have fallen, have to agree with Damjan about Serie A being a second rate Euro league.

Great result, almost a walk in the park BUT !  was anyone disappointed with how we failed to take anything from the amount of corners we had  ?

I know Zlatan is 40 but he's still a big fella and a significant physical presence yet Konate was just bullying him. Powerful lad that Konate. As others have mentioned Chamberlain had another good game as well, I think he's playing better now than at any time since his injury.

Not just yesterday mate, I feel we've been poor at making something out of corners (and set peices in general) throughout the whole season thus far. Maybe it's just my perception, but it would be interesting to see what the stats say on this, if someone can find any since I couldn't.

In the Telegraph:

LFC Champions League revenue status currently after the group stage:
Starting fees - €15.6m
Market Pool - €16m
Coefficient based - €21.6m
Fixed amounts: €2.8m x 6 = €16.8m (Group wins)
Round of 16 - €9.6m
Group Draws split - €1m
Total CL revenue Now = €80.6m

Potential possible future CL revenue:
Quarters - €10.6m
Semis - €12.5m
Final - €15.5m
FInal Win - €4.5m
Total potential future CL revenue - €43.1m
Total possible CL distributions - €123.7m

Add about £21m of possible matchday revenue from 6 potential home matchdays.

I'd say the  €123.7m from UEFA for winning is the same value we won when we beat Spurs so no great increase there, but from what I understand, the commercial benefits through sponser bonuses, the improved Nike deal etc.. would make the overall income worth double in total or closer to €250m

Not too shabby, eh? Compare that to the FA Cup...

Great Win and happy for second-line team players all did exceptionally well, however, I thought Nat Phliips had an excellent game, it will be sad to sell him because he is a great asset to the team.

Good Luck Lads
