Nothing is harsh for these, they're rougher than any Premier League side I've ever seen, it's a miracle Mane hasn't been injured yet.

They are absolute murder to play against, their gamesmanship is off the charts, I think they are possibly worse than Revie's Leeds team but we handled them and their antics well.
Thought the Ox had a really good game but they all played well to be fair.
We can park the CL to one side now and forget about it until next Feb which will allow us to concentrate on the prem and league cup

Well glad that f*cking fixture is out of the way, hopefully they'll get kicked out in the knockouts by someone else so we don't have to deal with them again. In fact, hopefully they won't even go through the group stages.

Anyway, it was an important win and we have one less competition to worry about until February, which means we can rest players for the final two games.

The goals we scored were very good, Trent was excellent with those deliveries. But what I really liked was Mane's goal, particularly the way he fought off the challenges prior to scoring the goal. Recently he's been going down too easily IMO, sometimes maybe fouled, other times not, but he's much more of a menace when he doesn't go down and fights off the challenges like he did today. Hopefully we'll see more of that in the future.

Not much time for rest. A tough game up next against West Ham away.

What a game, we totally dominated. At one stage mid second half they were 2-0 down and had all 11 men behind the ball. We were unplayable, the lads have matured so quickly into a world beating side. TAA, VVD and Joel were massive, Hendo, Mo etc.. superb. We were unplayable and should have won 5-0+

Kostas the Greek - 6 starts, 6 wins, 6 clean sheets. What a great player he's turning out to be despite always looking half asleep.
