Win this and we can qualify with 2 games to spare which will be good going given how tough the group is.
Apparently Fab and Thiago are back in training but Naby is out with a hamstring strain.
Incidently a recent government report stated that this fixture last year just before the Covid lockdown led directly to 37 deaths, sobering stuff.

Hate this team and their horrible manager, I hope we stuff them

We don't need to break our balls in this game so I'd prefer we take it easy and settle for a draw. My priority is to avoid injuries and save energy for the coming weeks/months. 1-1 will do.

I think we should qualify before harbouring any notions of coasting mate, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Milan and Porto get results against us, unlikely  but not impossible.
Even then coasting is no guarantee that we won't pick up any injuries, remember Jota getting injured in that meaningless dead rubber against Midtjylland last season? Players were just going through the motions but he still got injured. He was missing for 3 or 4 months as well right when we needed him too i.e when the goals dried up after Christmas and our home form collapsed.

I'd expect Matip for Konate and Fabinho for Keita. Should hopefully have Thiago on the bench.

Hope we don't rush both Fabinho and Thiago into the starting line-up cause we need them to be and stay fit. But at least one of them needs to start, preferably Fabinho, or we won't have a chance of winning IMO.

Alisson, Trent, Joel, Virgil, Tsimkas, Hendo, Fab, AOC, Mo, Jota, Sadio

Looking forward to seeing Trent and Kostas down the flanks, if Kostas has retained his early season form it will be like having 2 Trent's on the pitch. Change Thiago for AOC and that's arguably the best side we can put out.

That's more like it from Mane. Instead of falling to the floor he battled it out, even though it was a clear foul, and managed to score. That's the Mane we know and would like to see more from.

f*ck the *****. Totally deserved the red, aimed to hit him straight in the legs. f*cking mugs even without that foul they should be banned from playing like that, always hitting and kicking without even trying to get the ball.

Our boys have to play smarter now and not fall for the famed Simeone's dark art
