Always a tricky game against Atletico...5 at the back, tricky forwards in Felix and Griezmann plus Lemar with a point to prove. 3 points is all that matter

That's their first loss at home in Europe for 4 years! Puts in context what a great result it is.

They tried every dirty tactic in the game to try and get something from that. Total Sh1thouse performance from them... glad the ref stood up to them 2nd half.


Unbelievable result.

That was a fantastic result against a good team in a hostile stadium. Not perfect from us but we did enough to sneak out with the win. I say that because I still don't know what the difference between our pen and there's is 

Salah's consistency is just amazing. Game after game and even the pressure of that penalty was huge but he just takes it in his stride 

Always a difficult away trip and glad we got it out of the way with a win, hope we won't have to face them again this season.

To be honest, I don't know what to think about this game. Fantastic first 15 minutes, outdone by the rest of the first half, but then again, one of those goals probably shouldn't have stood. Then some major decisions going our way (all correct IMO) in the second half pretty much decided the match. So I can't really have an opinion on our performance because the game was more or less decided by the refs decisions.

I'm just glad we won and got this game out of the way. Man U up next.

Erratic Jekyll and Hyde type performance from us but that win should be enough to see us through to the knockout stages, you'd need a pretty unlikely series of results for us not to qualify from here.

Dafuq is with Keita? Great strike for the second goal but was at fault for their two goals. No surprise he was hauled off

Outstanding result, it doesn't get any better than this. Mo's scored in his last 9 games. A great time to be a reds fan.
