Tough game so far but that was to be expected, we're playing away against a Premier League side after all. We'll need another goal in the second half to win this IMO.

Anyway, Kelleher has been great today, and not just because of the penalty save.

Great result and good to see Minamino scoring from the off, good lad.

Santa, how did you watch the game mate, who was showing it?

I dont know if you can do this but I subscribe to Bein connect online, its $12 per month and you get all premier league, champions league and the domestic cup games. The bein player is a bit naff but it's cheap.

Good result and excellent display from all the players especially the young ones, What player Morton would be in the future? Happy to see Minamino played well and scored two good goals, the best player was Tsimikas pinpoint assist crossings, good all-around defender, and attacking wise he is ahead of Robbo in footballing aspects.

Good Luck Lads

Preston away in the next round. Not a bad draw.

:D  . and not a moment too soon !
Must add re Tommy's comment  about Tsimikas . I'm not sure (right now) if he's ahead of Robbo but he's deffo challenging for a first team spot.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the lad, but I didn't think Konate was *that* brilliant Vs Norwich.
Loads of reports claiming he was fantastic etc.
Thought he did ok, meself

VVD was superb out of the box, I don't think anyone's expects Konate to be, he's not the finished article by a long way so I suspect a lot of the compliments are to boost his confidence etc...   I feel sorry for Philips and Rhys Williams after all their hard work last season, they ought to jump ship in the Christmas transfer window. I see Ozan Kabak ended up at Norwich.

Don't recall many going over the top on Konate.

Thought it was a decent Premier League debut for a young center back coming from abroad. He's got loads going for him and you can see why we were prepared to wait for him. It's quite funny the way he squats away smaller opponents as if they are irrelevant. Looks like man against boy!
