Konate still need to get used to the pace of Premier League, but he is quick and his recovery is top notch

Only had radio commentary today. Sounded like we'd never lose this one BUT at times , given the missed opportunities I was beginning to wonder if we'd win it  :(

Well done to the lads, they never stopped running   :buttrock

Great result from a much changed team.

Also fantastic to see Man City drop points after Pep called out their fans for not turning up

Made it a little harder than it should have been but we still won with 3 goals and a clean sheet.

Thought Konate had a solid debut even though I felt he could have done better in a few situations. It's his debut though so he'll only get better.

Tsimkas really looks like he wants to challenge Robertson for that LB spot, he was great once again both in defence and going forward. Didn't have an assist but his crosses from the corners for the first two goals contributed greatly to us scoring them.

And finally Alisson, never does any flashy camera parades but his saves are always crucial. Definitely one of the best in the world.

All in all, a good win and City drawing against Soton is another plus, but I fear City won't be the only team we'll need to drop points this season.

Great professional win against a tough and physical team, they’ll probably take points of our rivals at some point. Allison is absolute world class, the kind of keeper that wins you games. Happy Naby scored if it helps him be the player we thought he was. I thought VVD was a little nervous of Konate but that could end up a great partnership.

After so many years of cr@p keepers, it's great to have a safe pair of hands between the sticks.
