Very strange lineup from klopp when we have to be attacking picking milner, would gone with jota, and tiago and fabinho holding the midfield

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson, Fabinho, Milner, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Adrian, H. Davies, Thiago, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jota, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, B. Davies, R. Williams, Cain, Clarkson.

Not sure I agree with the starting XI - Firstly we need to win by two goals and we drop Jota...here's hoping for a minor miracle as secondly the midfield without Thiago is workmanlike at best and I can't remember the last time any of the three had an assist.

Can’t believe he’s picked Milner over Thiago and dropping Jota is another strange one, has Jurgen forgotten that when we went on that terrible run just after Christmas where we scored the grand total of 2 goals in 8 home games it was Mo, Bobby and Sadio who were leading the line?
Got to be honest seeing that starting XI has taken all the wind out of my sails, I was quietly optimistic earlier but seeing that line up has left me feeling flat.

Cant believe we arent starting Thiago or Jota in a game we have to win.

Klopp obviously has faith in what he picked so it's up to them to return it and do what needs to be done.

Strange one from Klopp and I hope it don't bite him back hard, looks like his going for experience and leadership. I don't know, time will tell I guess.

Common redmen, lets make it one of those epic nights and add it to our list.

We could've easily been 2 up by now if we'd taken our chances. Can only hope we get more again in the 2nd half

f*cking hell, squandered a lot of chances in that first half, especially Salah with that one on one in the opening minutes. Would have been a different game had that gone in.

At least the performance is there. Let's hope we'll have more luck in the second half.

Playing well but feel need jota also up there can see molly or winni coming off by 55min and going for it hopefully Madrid Will tier and get a res card

Mane and Salah should have a goal each. Hopefully they can come out with a point to prove in the second half...

We're playing well and these lot look nervous.. we've just lacked composure in the final 3rd.
