We really do need to win this one, there’s a 5 point gap between us and West Ham in 4th which is bad enough but the 9 point gap between us and the teams in 2nd and 3rd could easily become unbridgeable if we don’t get our @rses into gear pretty quick.
If we allow the top 3 to pull away we’ll find ourselves embroiled in a hell of a scrap with the likes of Chelsea, Everton, Spurs and West Ham for that last CL place.
There’s still a third of the season to go and in this 3 points for a win era things can change around pretty quickly so the top 3 are not out of sight yet but they soon will be if we don’t start winning and soon.
I still think our experience of title races, high pressure CL semi’s and finals etc etc will be a factor down the stretch.

We need to look at playing a 3 5 2 play kabak Phillips Davies which gives trent and robbo more freedom to attack. Play 2 sitting midfielders in gini and fab and thiago just behind manne and salah

Lets face facts, in the last week we've lost 2 of our most influential players (Alli and Hendo) on top of what us already an unbelievable list of 1st team injuries. 12 months ago we would have been in melt down losing Alli and Hendo, now it's par for the course!  We end up playing some fella called Kebab and Rhys Williams with a rabbits ar$e stuck on the back of his head!

Interesting times, come on you Reds!! 2-0 to us.

Rest of the team are playing with a monkey on their back...Rhys Williams the odd one out with a rabbit’s ar$e.

Anyway, I can’t bare the thought of us losing this one. We simply need to get the three points and reinstill some semblance of a winning mentality.

Alisson might be playing - they were going to decide on j the day if he was going to play

2 of the 5 teams above us (Leicester and West Ham) have already lost this weekend and 2 others (Chelsea and United) play each other in an hour so either one or both of them are going to drop points as well. Given the position we are in we can’t afford to look gift horses like this in the mouth, we have got to win today.

:nod

We've got to start stringing some wins together. I'm seriously worried that if we don't get our act together , starting today ! , we won't qualify for next seasons Champions League ! In terms of lost prestige and finance it would be a massive blow.   :(

1st and 2nd choice GKs and 1-5 choice CB options out. Great! Will be a miracle if we keep a clean sheet.

This is going to be hard to watch. Common redmen must get 3 points otherwise UCL spot will be difficult.

I have a good feeling about tonight. I'm going for a thumping 3-0 to us.
