Title defense well and truly over. 3 years undefeated then two losses in succession against bottom scrappers.

As they said...charity begins at home. We are the modern day Robin Hood...we take points from the rich and give them to the poor. Every relegation teams must be looking forward to play against us now.

Bad injuries have definitely cost us.. Along with some terrible decisions.

Alisson
Fabinhio
Matip
Gomez
Keita
Mane
Virgil

Ox has been out most of the season..

It's too many first teamers out for long periods of the season.

That was just awful and only have ourselves to blame. The only team that looked like scoring was them.

I remember Everton blowing the title when it looked a done deal so you never know but you have to say it looks like it’s City’s to lose now.
It’s just a shame that after taking 30 years to win it we handed it back with a whimper, we barely mustered a shot on target.

I don't know what the fook Klopp is thinking when he puts Origi on the pitch. The only thing I can possibly think of is two fingers to the owners "this is all I have". Then again, he bought Taki.
Origi brings nothing, he's talentless. The window is closed, nobody is watching him, nobody will buy him, period.
It's not his fault we lost that or didn't even get a point.
Insipid performances all over the park. Mo had a stinker. Trent was asleep for their goal and couldn't put a decent cross in all night.
Gini and Shaw: nothing all night.
Brighton fully deserved that for their gutsy defending and ambition. Things we absolutely did not show tonight.

Klopp isn't buying or targeting the players Mate. He said as much the other week.

This side could go out and hammer City on Sunday and then put on the same performance we did tonight against Leicester. They just look so void of any ideas except to keep repeating the same failed stuff over and over again.

Far to many poor and average players to turn it around Yakka. We needed to win that and beat City to give ourselves a realistic chance. they will drop a few points but not enough to make a difference.  Can't see them going far in the CL either with performances like that.

Our makeshift defence has actually done alright, we were top at Christmas and 5 points clear at one point with that makeshift defence, conceding 1 goal against the likes of Burnley, West Brom and Brighton should not be the end of the world either, things like that can happen even with your best defensive pairing in there.
We should have enough about us to put 2 or 3 goals against teams in and around the relegation zone. I don’t know what’s happened at the top end of the pitch, I really don’t, it takes us an hour to get a shot on target.
