Can't believe that Everton and f*cking Pickford got away with that tackle on VVD. First of, it didn't even look offside on the replays, but even if it was, how is it allowed for a player to get away with pretty much assulting another player just because play was stopped? f*cking ridiculous, still fuming here.

The way the boys were fired up before that situation, we would have been 3 up had it not happened, but the injury not only took out our best player but our momentum as well. Still, we're playing a lot better than them and should be beating them, though it will be close.

That Pickford challenge has completely changed the game. He should have been sent off! And not only that we've conceded from a set piece as our best defender from set pieces has gone off injured.

Absolutely fuming.

The ref could have taken retrospective action against dickford because no card was given. He has every right to review it and VAR should have instructed him to.

It's a load of balls that he walks away after that.

VVD is lucky his leg wasn't broken.

Only positive is the fact he walked off the field. Might be an impact injury, which will put him out for a few days. Or a twisted knee, which could be 2-6 weeks.

Shocking. The lines they had up for the offside when the offside was called made it look like VVD was onside. And by more than a little. Even if it wasn't, that doesn't mean you can assault a player. If that were the case, we could just wait for a player who is clearly offside, then do a two-footed leg-breaking challenge on the player and go unpunished. Except, that's not what would happen.
The channel I'm watching on have all said VAR got it completely wrong, and VAR officials have said they didn't actually check on the foul. Despite everybody seeing how nasty the foul was live, and Virgil sitting on the ground for 5 minutes. Must have been busy getting tea...
That kind of stuff is season ending. Career ending even. Luckily he walked off on his own.

VAR is a joke and we a definitely on the wrong end of decisions lately. Total bullsh1t excuse saying the didn’t look at the foul, the bar ref just chose not to.

WHat?!??!?? They're saying Mane's arm is offside, which can't be used and isn't part of offside compared to Mina's hip? What the f*ck is going on at that VAR studio? Did an Everton fan win be the VAR official for a day?
