I know it’s not exactly high up on the clubs priority list but I’d quite like to see us go far in the domestic cups this season, seems an age since we last got past the first couple of rounds.

Agree, we have a wide and deep squad now so there's no reason why you can't play Origi, Jota and Brewster up from and take this cup run as far as possible. Let's target the domestic treble, why not?

The way Klopp has approached it in the past is to not risk the best available 11 and make a squad with whoever is remaining. So we’re probably looking at something like the below.
Injured: Gomez, Matip, Koumetio, Henderson, Ox
Best 11: Alisson, Trent, Robertson, Fabinho, van Dijk, Thiago, Wijnaldum, Keita, Salah, Mane, Firmino
Adrian
Williams Phillips van den Berg Tsimikas
Grujic
Jones Milner
Minamino Jota
Origi

Watched Lijnders pre match prezza last night, thought he spoke really well particularly when he was asked about the Premier League doing a lot more to help lower league clubs. He also said people may be surprised by how good a side we pick tonight.

Agreed.
I thought Grujic had a pretty good game though.

Poor defensive display, but Jones is starting to look like a real player. Will be interesting to see how he and Grujic fit in. We have a lot of midfielders these days

That was a fun match to watch, thought Taki played well.

Thought Minamino and Jones played well, however I don't think Neco Williams will have what it takes to play at the top level.

Arsenal in the next round. Seems like we're getting a tough opponent every time we get through our first round.
