Liverpool will face Blackpool this Saturday in the last of their pre-season friendly games ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Reds take on the League One club in a 3pm BST kick-off on September 5, as they build up to the Premier League opener against Leeds United a week later.
The match will see the return of former Liverpool U23s manager Neil Critchley, who took the helm at Blackpool in March this year.

When it was announced TJames instantly came to mind!

The likes of Williams, Wilson, van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Trent, Gomez, Robertson, Tsimikas and Grujic are away on international duty. But Origi, Matip, Henderson and Shaq are back in training so might feature.

Bad, rookie mistake by the young lad at CB but he isn't half bad in all honesty, he's been decent in all matches he's played.

Painful to watch that first half, so many off the boil. Passing poor, shooting poor, schoolboy errors.

I'm watching it in some language I can't begin to understand via app on my android phone. It freezes every now and again, adding to the pain of watching the lads play utter muck.

Must admit that was a worrying first half, with a starting XI that included Mane, Salah, Firmino, Fabinho, Alisson, Keita, Minamino, Matip and Milner we went 2 down to Blackpool, they had a couple of good chances before they went ahead as well.
We are deffo not firing on all cylinders atm, I notice Trent is on the bench for England, hopefully he’ll be fit to play next week against Leeds.

I thought we really missed Trent and Robertson, Milner was struggling for pace. I did like the performances of Keita who I think is getting better and Jones, who I do like the look of. Minamino has looked over awed since coming but a few games on the score sheet Like yesterday and he will ease into the position.

Had we scraped threw yesterday I would have been more worried but once we got going playing quicker, we looked our usual dangerous self. I hope Salah returns as we have not seen his usual play since last season, has he even scored this preseason?
