Looking forward to the guard of honour from these lot lol.

I want us to smash their points record now. Aguero is out which is a positive for us as he usually tends to score on this fixture.

Going to be a tough one, I'm think we will come home with a point or may sneak a win.

I hoped they would beat Chelsea so we could beat them on the field but they lost. I just hope we maintain the same level of focus we were playing with prior to becoming champions and win every remaining match, moments like these do not come around often in history so we need to leave our mark.

My guess is that City may have a point to prove and may just be more motivated than us, I hope not. It should be an open entertaining match.

Just go and rub salt in their very gaping wound !! Got no time or admiration for what City have achieved. They show about as much class as Michael Carroll who was known as the Lotto Lout after he alledgedly blew his £10million fortune on drugs and alchohol !! They currently have 6 league titles and most of them have been bought by abusing the rules !!! Just for the record Sunderland also have 6 league titles but not many City plastics no that !!!

Never been a huge fan of guards of honour (maybe because we've never had one lol), it feels kind of humiliating, but considering it's City, those title buying *****, that will be doing the clapping, I will most certainly enjoy it, and hopefully we'll give them a good spanking afterwards as a thank you :D

Also, Danny Murphy can do one with his comments about none of our players being fit to even lace de Bruyne's boots. Lost lots of respect for that man with that comment.

Danny is usually extremely measured and sensible in his assessments however on this occasion he has made himself look like a massive DH.

He must've been high on something, very wierd coming from him. Seemed like some sort of bitterness stemming from somewhere.

We’ve had loads of guards of honour mate, there’s clips on YouTube of Tommy Docherty’s Chelsea lining up to clap us onto the pitch in the mid 60’s, Guards of honour are a tradition that go way back.
As for Murphy he is talking absolute rubbish, no one is claiming that any of our players are better than De Bruyne on an individual basis but football is a team sport, City are lining up tonight as a team to applaud another team who have beaten them over a 38 game season. De Bruyne is not going to be standing there on his own.
Murphy’s comments are incredibly disrespectful to a team who are the current, English, European and World Champions, That team that’s apparently not fit to lace De Bruyne’s boots have won all the biggest prizes in the club game.

Thank you for the daily history lesson yakka, but what I obviously meant is that we've never had one IN MY LIFETIME. Not everyone on here is an old man you know  :eyebrow

As for Danny Murphy, like everyone, I was also surprised by the fact that it was him that said those things. One of the people I least expect to say something like that.

f*ck, I know we've already won the league but that's no reason to get humiliated here ffs. Need to wake up in the second half and keep this f*cking respectable at least.

The penalty was bull though. Football has become too soft.

Thought we would be right up for this but looks like we have no motivation to go that extra yard.
