We moan about players going down too easy but when you see what happened to Gomez you can’t blame them, if Joe goes down there he almost certainly gets the foul.
Fair dues to the players though for turning the game around, we are in a bad run, decisions are going against us and we clearly aren’t firing on all cylinders but they are digging in.
Come on lads more of the same second half.

Oh Milner...what a boring clearance. Adrian is super edgy today

FT 2-1...barely squeezed by but 3 points nevertheless towards No.19. Not a great performance but this team have broken our all time home winning streak of 22 consecutive games.

Don't think we would get this low energy come mid-week

The commentary said at the start of the game we was 12 points clear at the top of the league and then at the end said they are now 15 points clear?

It's 25 points clear!

I'd play Milly vs Atletico in midfield. We need heart and fight in the 2nd leg and he has both in abundance.

All I’ll say is Wednesday night is going to be tricky !!

We take the 3 points and move on.

I’ve been confident that we are going to turn that tie around but I must admit I’m starting to have serious doubts, not only do we look short in terms of creativity we now look iffy at the back as well. Simple long balls over the top are causing us all sorts of trouble.
We need to find our best form again if we want to make it 3 CL finals in a row because the way we are currently playing isn’t going to get it done. It is a tournament that brings out the best in us though so fingers crossed.

We are running out of gas in the league but so far ahead it won't matter. Its just how and when we win it not if. Can see us losing again in league but would really like us to eliminate Atleti because I don't care for them at all. Won't be easy though not on our current form.

Tough match, but it's 3 points. City now play 3 league games...which means we can technically win the league without kicking another ball, if City lose their next 3.

There’s a decent chance they could drop points tomorrow at Old Trafford, derby games are tricky no matter what.
Seeing Spurs and Wolves both drop points today will undoubtedly give United extra motivation as well.
