Wins a win and despite the awards Alisson is overrated.

We easily could've won that won however the nervy ending is typical of us. VVD goals are reminiscent to Big Sami, towering headers!
Given City dropped points we really had to get maximum, so i am glad that we got over the line and increased out lead.

We move on!

You know what mate I’ve been saying the same about VVD and nobody will listen. Both of them are fecking useless. Just look at that save from Alison in the last minute against Napoli to keep us in last seasons CL. To be honest me grannie could have saved it. Ship them out at the end of the season along with Fab, Mo, Sadio and Bobby :laugh:

Literally, we were playing with 9 players most of the game before the keeper got sent off because of the useless twin (Firmino + Salah) weren't really contributing anything at all, both ought to be dropped. I just cannot see this front line scoring goals apart from Mane.
The manager should really recall Harry Wilson from Bournemouth and play him of Salah !!!

Some people have had a right old go about Atkinson’s unfair decisions towards LFC in the past and when you look at the picture you can see why. Adrian has just come on. He’s organising the wall and when he is stranded against a post Atkinson blows his whistle and basically says to Brighton there you go lads fill your boots !! It was a thoroughly awful example of unfair refereeing. I hope the club complains.

I checked on Ref Watch and they did not even mention on it. Unbelievable that he still officiates!

Martin Atkinson is the VAR referee for tomorrow nights derby match. Mike Dean who comes from the Wirral is the on field referee. Interestingly the bluenoses think that Atkinson hates them and Dean is a Liverpool supporter !! Should be fun.
