They defended deep with a 5 men wall, lots of energy from their midfielders. If we don't introduce much creativity down the middle (Gini was missing), we might see the 44 game record gone by tonight.

We're actually playing quite well, bar the fluke goal.  Spurs have offered nothing, with everyone behind the ball HOOFing it clear.  As long as we keep our composre, we'll win this. And when we get 1, we'll end up getting 3 or 4. It's one of those games.

Either Keita or Ox needs to come on for Gini who is very quiet at the moment

Spurs are just gonna try and steal a 1-0. They have zero ambition to go and get another.. Its all stopping us by fouling and stopping us taking quick freekick. It's same as the United game.. They're stopping our fullbacks and Hendo and Gini are unable to create anything from the midfield.

OX on for me. Give it 10 mins in the second half, and then bring him on for Gini (who has done little).

I completely disagree. Poch is a very good defensive manager and can keep it tight.
We won 2-1, 2-1 in the league last season, getting lucky in those games. And we sure didn't play them off the park in the final either.
These are no mugs like Southampton or Burnley...

I hope you're right mate !

I'm worried it could be another game where despite loads of chances we fail to put them away   :(

It's going to be an extremely frustrating 2nd half where every throw in will takes an eternity...

Spurs are sitting deep and pretty much saying to our midfield here have the ball, see if you can break us down.
When you're faced with a packed defence like that you need someone who can strike a ball from distance, I'd get Chamberlain on.

Very embarrassing performance by Spurs for me. They scored a fluke goal and now they'll defend with their backs to the wall like some relegation battlers. Let's show them their place in the second half.

We need to bring on either Ox to threaten from distance or Naby to thread that quality pass through. They are going to sit deep again this half and look to hold on to what they have.
