Everyone just stand off Kante and allowed him to score...Fabinho must take the blame

Now we are just inviting 20mins of onslaught from Chelsea...we let our intensity down a couple of gears in the 2nd half

Good not great, nearly lost it, scored two, finally an away win against a Top 6 club, 3 points, perfect start, 5 points ahead of City, United lost, Everton lost, Chelsea lost, Spurs lost, we are Top of the League. Not the best performance from Salah, Gini, Fabinho etc but especially Trent yet we still pulled thru.

I'll take just that!!!

Possibly the worst performance Salah has put in
Trent was absolutely diabolical and if he hadnt scored the goal youd swear he was totally sh'it

Tough game and I thought we looked tired 60 minutes onwards. Saw abit of complacency when we went 2-0 up and Fabinho was very frustrated with himself after Kantes goal.. I feel he was too laboured and should have followed his run.

I love seeing frustration on little errors, it proves we are striving towards greatness this season.

Massive, Massive 3 points for us today  :nod  Sure it was a bit ropey towards the end but thankfully we seen it through.

Taking Mane off cost us any threat we had down that side and gave them a confidence boost. They really started getting into it after that and probably felt they deserved a point for their efforts and if it wasn't for a few good saves from Adrian they just might have got it.

Fabinho didn't have a stellar game or anything and will probably be disappointed with Kante's goal but out of the midfield 3 I still thought he played the best. Made a few good tackles and interceptions at the right time.

Being honest though quite a few of our lads looked a bit tired and leggy so maybe its time to rest a few with the cup game Midweek and Sheff Utd next weekend. The Napoli result means we need a result against Salzburg and then we will have to be at our best again for Leicester who wont be a pushover.

Absolutely delighted with that win  :nod

Time to give some of the first teamers a rest. The midweek game is a 'who gives a fook' cup so maybe Brewster, Keira, who knows else... and time to do some video reviews..

Vital 3 points, this season is literally going to be on a game by game basis.
