Then again, if they had won it would have given them a massive boost and they would ave cruised past spurs on Sat.

Wasn't our most convincing performance (particularly first half) but we got the job done in the end.
Hats off to Jurgen, he has backed up last year's CL final with at least another semi which takes some fvcking doing.
He's been here 3 and a half years and he's taken us to a League Cup final, a Europa League final, a Champions League final and another CL semi/CL final. We have a great chance of winning our first league title in 30 years as well.
What a job he's done, absolutely superb.

I love this competition ... no matter how it ends,  it’s so great seeing us compete again at the very top. Can’t wait for Barca to visit anfield (anyone know where the first leg is?); no matter how good they think they are I honestly I don’t think they will survive the atmosphere...but let’s concentrate on Cardiff for now  :p

Edit: first leg at the Nou camp

Yeah, kinda feel bad for Pep :D , but f*ck City, they deserve it.

Having said that however, I really wouldn't want to be at the receiving end of this kind of VAR decision. It's a horrible feeling, you score a 90th minute winner, the fans go berserk, the whole stadium goes wild, only to be denied the goal a few minutes later by a VAR decision for an offside that happened 10 minutes ago. VAR might bring justice most of the time, but to be honest I'd rather not have it, it kinda ruins the game for me.

Cracking result for us ,

Though I would have prefer City to have won and kept their energies in the UCL as well as the League

Plus have Spurs looking for payback this weekend

VAR works well in rugby. Cricket and tennis, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work well in footie. It’s how it’s applied that creates frustration, they’re not transparent and they don’t give confidence.

This.

Hats off to Klopp for having transformed this club into Europe’s best. We have to win the CL now, we are better side than the other 3 and can only hope that the Death Star Etihad implosion continues in the league.
