Fvcking hell, thank god for that.
That midfield cost us the CL and it very nearly cost us the title today as well. Why Jurgen see's those 3 as his go-to midfield in big games god only knows, I don't even want to get to another CL final if it means having to watch those 3 plod around the pitch.

Lucky win by Hamilton, Lucky win for us tonight...but as they say, you've got to be in there to win it. Kudos to all

He started them 3 in every big games...they more often than not have been a let down

Salah absolute garbage right now and needs to be benched - no goals and refusing simple assists.

Origi  Firminio Mane should start next game and bring him on second half to see  if he has any cajones .

Salah forced Spuds into a mistake for our second goal.  He might be off form, but he's still making a difference.

Would LOVE to know how our result has gone down with City.  Because it's the hope that kills you, and this result will feel like a defeat for them.  It'll also ramp up the pressure, nicely.

If Fabhino doesnt start the last 6 PL games I'm sorry but Jurgen needs his head testing.

Does he actually believe that MF will get us over the line?

Hoped this deflates the City player a fair bit...just when they are about to celebrate, we got across right at the death. We ain't going anywhere...let's see City crack for their 3 games against Spurs will be tough

I shed my first tears of the season after that goal.. It was such a massive goal in terms of the title race, drawing that game would have given City the chance of losing one game and still winning the title on goal difference. We have 1 big team left to play and we're at home and City have 2 both away.

The title race is still alive guys!!

Why the ***** didn't Jurgen change it before they scored? Everyone on planet earth could see that we had lost control of the midfield and an equaliser was on the way.

I agree.. Milner and Hendo were looking leggy. Fabinho came on and took full control. Let's give VVD massive credit for that 2 vs 1 moment near the end.

Looking at the bright side...the results today will mean that both Spurs and United will need their 3 points against City to qualify for CL next season. Game on

He didn't panicked, and Sissoko didn't want to shoot

Class, he knew Son was a lot more dangerous and just stopped him from getting the ball through to Son and said go on have a blast

f*cking hell, always the same with this club, at the verge of a heart attack!

Don't think we were lucky to win, we were very unlucky to concede (soft foul, ball moving, misskick from Erikssen for the assist) so we deserved that late own goal.

The 2 v 1 with van Dijk won't get enough recognition, amazing defensive play.

Anyway, we got what we needed, the 3 points. A win against Southampton next week, and City will be under enormous pressure considering their fixtures starting 2 weeks from now. Let's not lose the hope!
