Another fookin' year where we're limiting the chance of silverware because of a) dodgy selection and b) apathy on the pitch.

Monero adds nothing to the team...can't pass, can't defend, can't cross  :no

Because no one will take him. Same for Sturridge

I'm glad I never have to see our fringe players start another game this season.. Hoever did well having to play out of position in a big game, thought he coped quite well. Moreno, Sturridge, Origi, Mignolet get them off the books.. I'd rather see kids get a chance who will give 100% in games.

Why do we need someone to take him he isnt a fcking stray dog..Kick him out of the City...I know he is Bobby's mate but that's not a reason to have him on the pitch.

Always looked a potential banana skin the moment it was drawn out of the hat.
Forgettable game on the whole but I've a sneaking suspicion it will be remembered in the future as the day a star was born.
Hoeve is going to be class.

He got physically bullied a couple of time but then again the boy is only 16 ffs...definitely a star in the future

Hoeve is definitely a future star.

I hate it when we lose and two consecutive is a bitter pill to swallow- weakened line up notwithstanding

Winning and losing become habits pretty quickly - we need to get back to winning ways against Brighton- no ifs buts or maybes...

He's still got 4 or 5 years of growing ahead of him, by the time he's filled out he'll look like Virgil. I don't know about you but I was a lot taller and broader at 21 than I was at 16.

I was 5ft 6in at 16 and at 21 I was 6ft.. so he's still got alot of growing to do. Big chance for Shaqiri and Keita to show they are capable of a place in the starting line up.. after tonight id buy Fekir in a heartbeat.

His composure on the ball for a 16 year old making his debut in a match between 2 top prem sides was off the charts. Even Gerrard said his @rse was carried when he made his debut against Spurs and he was 18.

Struggling to be too bothered about going out. As mentioned, priorities elsewhere and a blessing in disguise going out.

Only thing that bothered me about today was Keita. No means a terrible performance by him but I was really hoping he would use this game to step up and take the game by the scruff of he neck but it never came. Just feels like he is not fully expressing himself out there and shows glimpses of good play here and there but I'm expecting him to really go out there and be a real dynamo in midfield for us but like a lot of his other games, seem to be on the fringes somewhat.
