I’d expect plenty of rotation for this one but I still think we’ll have a decent team on show. Doesn’t look as though Lovren or Lallana will be fit to play which is a shame. I’d go for something like this with Henderson and Trent getting the night off.

Yeah that's the team I'd probably go with as well. It's important that we stay in the League Cup so our squad players can get a regular run out. The FA Cup doesn't start till January so if we lose this quite a few of our fringe players won't be seeing much first team action this side of Christmas.

Is a mickey mouse cup. Play the B team and let the first 11 rest for the main event at the weekend.

I'd go with the same, only with Mignolet instead of Alisson and maybe Hendo instead of Milner. Main 11 needs a rest.

Fabinho defo needs a run out.
