These friendlies don't really add up to diddly squat! The "Acid Test" comes versus West Ham, where we will see exactly what Shaqiri and Keita are made of...

They are thrown right in at the deep end, into the Lions den. Let's see what they do next Sunday..

Yup against West Ham i am sure we will see our electric flow in motion. Friendlies are usually to get back match fit and slowly prep for the main matches. Like Barnes said it is like light sparring.

Yes, the game on Tuesday is just about the new players getting used to playing at Anfield for the first time.

Torino are hardly going to give us a stiff test and I expect us to win by at least 5-0.

If Shaqiri and Sturridge play well again, It will be interesting who Klopp will field for the West Ham game.

I like this option we have with Studge and Shaq. I really hope Studge can stay fit for 70% of the season at least.

Yes, strong players that can come off the bench. Don't like the guy, but Shaqiri looks like a top signing so far.

Here we go boys n girls, the last friendly before the BIG kick off to the campaign on Sunday.

I'm not expecting torino to start uprooting trees at Anfield, so I'm going for a 6-0 win to us.

Cannot wait for Sunday, when the real Cheesecake begins once more! :buttrock

Shaqiri looks brilliant when he's got freedom to roam around. That assist for Studge was world class. Them 2 are bouncing off each other in pre season.

I'd start Shaquiri on Sunday in the Coutinho role, draws killed us last season so we need to go after teams from the off and he looks the most creative player on our books.
Sturridge scoring again as well, that's 6 goals in pre season and it's not as if he has been getting loads of game time either.
Great assist from Bobby as well, that through ball to Gini was Dalglish-esque
