Bayern should have scored 4 or 5 at least tonight. If Madrid meet up with Mo, Mane and Bobby and we don't get overawed by the occasion it will make for very interesting viewing .. don't want to get overconfident like

Real Madrid I feel is more difficult than playing Munich, as Modric, Benzema and Ronaldo will be more than a handful, and our midfield of Wjnaldum, Hendo and Milner is hardly prolific. Our squad is wafer thin, and it will take a mammoth effort to lift the Cup.

I was hoping Bayern would turn them over. :(

I fcking hate Ronaldo with all my energy, if we do triumph tomorrow, I hope we stuff them in Kiev.

We seriously need to be on our game tonight and none of this meltdown *****.

They will be weary of going full out early as they will leave themselves exposed, The longer it stays 0.0 the more desperate they will become and then we can pick them off.

The atmosphere will be daunting for some of our players so we need to be mentally ready for it.

Can't wait for it  :buttrock Come on the pool  :buttrock  :buttrock

Anyone else stuck in a shitty timezone for this game, 5am for me  :sleepy: Last time I decided to wake up this early to watch us play in the CL we lost to AC Milan in the 07 final.

Lets hope we can do better this time. Those 3 goals might not be enough if Lovren s.hits his pants and has a confidence crisis round the 80 min mark.

MATCH FACTS
- No team has ever overturned a 5-2 first-leg defeat away from home in the European Cup/Champions League. The last time there was such a scoreline in a first leg of the competition was in 1999-00, with Valencia knocking out Lazio 5-3 on aggregate (5-2, 0-1).
- Liverpool are yet to lose to Roma in the European Cup/Champions League in four meetings (W2 D2), with one of those draws in the 1984 final (1-1), which Liverpool won 4-2 on penalties in the Stadio Olimpico.
- This is Liverpool's 10th appearance in the semi-final of the European Cup - they've progressed to the final on seven of the previous nine occasions, losing only in 1964-65 against Inter Milan and in 2007-08 against Chelsea.
- Roma are appearing in their first European semi-final for 27 years, when they faced Brondby in the Uefa Cup in 1990-91. Their only previous European Cup semi-final was in 1983-84, when they eliminated Dundee United to face Liverpool in the final.
- Roma are the only team yet to concede a single goal at home in the Champions League this season (five games). They have also won all of their past four such games at the Olimpico (including two by three clear goals), but have never won five in a row.
- Meanwhile, Liverpool are the only unbeaten side in the Champions League this season (W7 D4).
The Reds have scored 38 goals in this season's competition, the most by an English team in a single Champions League campaign. In fact, since the new format was introduced in 2003-04, only Real Madrid (41 goals in 2013-14) scored more than Liverpool have this season.
- Liverpool are the first side in Champions League history to see three players score eight or more goals in a single season (Salah 10, Firmino 10, Mane eight).
- Mohamed Salah has scored in each of his past five Champions League starts for Liverpool, a feat only Steven Gerrard had previously accomplished for the club (between October 2007 and February 2008).
- James Milner has provided eight assists in the Champions League this season (nine including qualifying), the joint most in a single campaign in the competition proper since the new format was introduced in 2003-04, level with Neymar in 16-17.

We go into the coliseum as Maximus brimming with confidence, speed and skill.
We face Emperor Commodus in the final battle. He has wounded us but weve got enough to pull through and be victorious.

:D

Common Redmen 90 mins away from a champions league final.

Starting of the season who would have thought that by May we would be in this position.

Don't worry Mikz, we've come this far because we're good. They'll be worried about us than us them.

It's 7pm and the game kicks off in 8 hours. I'm sitting in front of the tv already to secure my spot and you what what, I'm going to have a large gin and tonic right now to set the tone.

Great post Reg. Certainly made me feel better about tonight. Crazy that I am so nervous considering the task facing Roma. I just keep on thinking about what they did to Barca. Mind you let's face it if we fk this up then we really only have ourselves to blame as well as a very dodgy penalty decision at Anfield !!
