Fucked by the referee and linesman again...how can that not be a penalty? That could be Salah's 24th

FT: 2-0 against a very resolute and game Newcastle. Good 3 points...keep picking them up and the others will drop points

That push looked outside the box to me. But a blatant foul and red card

Probably just outside, possibly just inside the box...but when nothing was given and the ref gave a blank stare towards his linesman, we have a problem. These ref never misses a penalty for Spurs do they?

Job done welldone lads back to 2nd where we belong!

Kane would've got a peno for that incident with Salah at the end. However it was outside the box but the toon player should have been penalised and definitely should have been a free kick.

It was a hard fought victory as Newcastle played ultra defensive and kept it tight.

Makes me a little sad to see Rafa like this. Managing an underfunded club with 10 men behind the ball style football. God knows why he ever went there.

They really need the takeover to happen otherwise Rafa will struggle to keep Newcastle in the Premiership. Their owner is a right tw@t.

A very professional display and well deserved win. At times it looked as if we were over patient but we got our chances and converted them nicely..Ox was the trigger today and Karius provided a super save..The rest were solid.

That foul on Salah was outside the box if you watched the replays.

I think the most important thing about today is another Mane goal. That's 5 goals in his last 3. He needed the confidence more than anybody, and now we've got our front 3 firing on all cylinders.
Karius looking confident in goal, VVD shoring up the back, and our front 3 playing really well together. I certainly feel we're missing that bit of creativity in he middle, but we're probably looking as good as we have in a while right now. We have a tendency of crashing after we play really well, getting good results for a period of time, but it's usually to some Sh*t club at the bottom of the table. I don't expect us to let off against Porto or United- It'll be about carrying on after that if we see positive results.

Happy with the result and our performance overall. Delighted that we can finally win games without the need to score at least 3 or 4 goals, that's what £75m does for you I guess. Special mention for Karius, great stuff from him today. Keep it up lad, that's how you fight to keep your job.

Also, the refs almost screwing us again, thankfully the job was done by then. I can understand Klopp's and the team's frustration as well, despite the fact that the game was over and the sending off wouldn't have changed anything. Refs just make these mistakes too often with us.
