Hendo and Can can't keep possession so far. Mane and Salah look like our only threat. I would have played Firmino as a CAM tonight and gone with either Origi or Solanke upfront.. Wijnaldum/Can/Hendo doesn't work.

Extremely sluggish pace to the game.

Far too easy to bypass Hendo and Wjnaldum. Only one with any fight in the midfield is Can.

Definitely great future ahead of TAA. Our defensive frailties and absolute meekness of the midfield is quite clearly on display. Coutinho can't be back sooner.

We could have nicked a second just before the half ended, so think the score is fair. However, we haven't really got going, so hopefully we can push for a second goal in next 45 mins.

tbh given the amount of space Hoffenheim are finding down that left hand side it's a good job it's Moreno playing and not Milner, Milner wouldn't stand a chance one on one against a player with acres to run into.
Our midfield is awful, we have got 3 water carriers in midfield and we still can't put pressure on them when they have the ball.
Btw how quick is that CB of theirs Vogt?
