No Lallana, Coutinho, Hendo or Sturridge apparently but hopefully we can continue our good pre season form and put on a show for our fans over in Ireland.

Allegedly Barca have dropped interest in Coutinho. He's not in Dublin anyway but hopefully it's not an excuse for doing a deal with Barca.

Solanke scores again, Bobby scores another pen and Woodburn with a belter. We've got goals in us. Great in attack, equally as bad at the back

Hopefully they have taken the hint.

Spurs have shown that with the right personnel at DM and CB it is possible to use this system and still have a good defence.
Hopefully we can get the Van Dijk deal over the line before the window shuts, Virgil alone probably won't be enough to sort out our defensive frailties but he will surely help.

A very good win, however, all the credit goes to younger players and especially in second half.
Once again the first team duds the likes of Firmino, Origi, Klavan was really disappointing as ever, and especially Origi, who ought to be loaned out, totally useless, three years and no improvement Solanke and Woodburn are much better players than him and both should ahead of him for first team slection.

The defence especially in CB department still is shaky and they will leak goals like hot cakes... I do think the nutcase manager will depend on Klavan quite a lot this season, it is a quarantee option for giving goals away through this flat foot dud.
Unless we get a top CF and CB urgently, the prospect for this season will be so good, I hope I am wrong!
