Stoke City v LIVERPOOL Sat 8th April 3.00 pm

It goes without saying that after that kick in the teeth Wednesday we need a win here, we've let the likes of United back into it which is extremely disappointing given all the hard work we put in against the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, City and Everton to get our noses ahead in the first place.
I think tomorrow's game is massive, in fact I'd go as far as to say if we don't win we won't finish in the top 4. Yes there's still a fair way to go and plenty of points to play for but any team that can only amass 1 or 2 points out of a possible 6 against Bournemouth and Stoke when desperate for 2 wins obviously isn't mentally strong enough to cope with the pressure.

Wow, so there's no Coutinho, Mane, Lallana or Henderson? That's four of our 'front five' out.
This is all starting to turn a bit pear shaped. If we don't make the top 4 we will only have ourselves to blame, we can't go whinging about lack of squad depth when we chose not to buy anyone in 2 or the last 3 windows (and made a profit in the other).

I really don't know how to predict this one. It feels like were Sutton Fc facing Bayern Munich.
Yup loss of points here and were truly screwed.

I think this will be another draw.

1-1 or 0-0.

We will only be comfortable if were 3 or 4-0 up with the way our defense is.

If no Couts then we have to start with Studge.
Things are looking very bleak.

Likely line up if Couts out

          Mignolet

Clyne Matip  Lovren Milner

            Lucas

        Can       Wij

Firmino             Origi

         Sturridge

Or Firmino in middle with Studge/Origi front 2.

Yeah good shout RS, that will probably be our line up.
Is that side good enough to go to Stoke and come away with all 3 points? I have to say I have my doubts.
Sturridge hasn't played in months, Firmino is desperately out of form, Matip wasn't fit enough to start our last game, Milner and Lucas having to play 3 games in 7 days etc etc
Put it this way I won't be doing us on my fixed odds coupon.

The 7 games remaining feel like cup finals. I really don't know how we will perform.
To be honest if Studge does play he will most likely be injured the following week.

Things are not looking good.

Opponents have been up and down this season. Lost their last couple of games. They have not scored a lot of goals this season so i guess they will probably sit back tomorrow.
If they catch our comical defense we could be in for a ride.

No scoreline is safe with our defense. This squad will torture us until its mathematically impossible.

Today will be only about will power and mental toughness...with current injuries we don't have any quality advantage over them. How I miss joe Allen hope he doesn't show up today.
