Liverpool v Arsenal Saturday 04/043/2017 KO 5:30pm

Its still a big game but with such rampant inconsistency running through Anfield a lot of the gloss has been stripped away.

It would be a very good win in isolation but at this point we know all too well it is certainly no barometer to where the club finds itself in the food chain.

The thing that destroys Liverpool fans is part of us still believes we can win every game remaining but another bad day tomorrow and the pressure will continue
to build.

This has got a win written all over it. ***** performance followed by a brilliant one...rinse and repeat. However Arsenal do possess pace and have that special player in  Sanchez so we are going to have to be on our game. Think it will 2-1 victory. Sounds as though Hendo is out of this one and think he will be a big miss.

This is a really crucial game now, for both teams. If we were to lose and other results go against us, we could be 6th and 4 points behind 4th with Utd also ahead of us come the end of the weekend. Also if both spurs and city win, they would put a gap between themselves and us.

Unfortunately the advantage of having no europe to worry about has gone now seeing as spurs/arsenal are both pretty much bith out of europe now. Really is time to roll our sleeves up and show what we are made of and I don't mean just a victory over Arsenal. It's following that up with a good run otherwise we are in real danger of really falling away badly

Maybe we are due a loss against the "bigger teams"...

Our record is good but maybe that will be put to the sword.

Why can't we beat all the lower teams and only lose to the top six! We would end up with more points that way!!!!

This squad is a bloody mess from top to bottom.

Wonder what will happen today. Both teams need the points. There will be plenty of goals.

3-2 to us.

I just cannot see Arsenal losing! they are a much better equipt team than us.
I hear the nutcase has shifted the full blame on his Nivea Men players for his failure as a manager based on hype pressing style of football that it can only last for few months, which it is resulting a drained players!!

In his recent talk whereas he looked a totally lost manager who has no clue what is really happing, laugh like mentally retarded man and make nonsense comments. He said that he wants to spend at latest another £400M on players in order to fit to his one style of football of press, press, presss... until you are ***** by month of December!!!  We have had almost two seasons of such Sh*t football.
All his Nivea men star players and each one of them cannot score 18 - 20 goals a season, especially Firmino, or the jelly baby Origi!

The owner of LFC are also crazy to keep a manager like this nutcase and back him fully, they have already made a huge mistake with previous idiots BR, and they will do the same with his Sh*t one.

Just look at Conte how he has transformed Chelsea into an elect champion by the month of January, and look at M.United the most played games in season, a cup winner and still involved in all competitions and will finish above Liverpool in league!!!
We are a very average club in steady decline, and will not be saved by managers like the idiot BR or the recent natcase! What top players would be interested to play for them... Only average players.

we'll trounce these today, simply because losing is unthinkable. I predict 3-0, Couts scores twice and Firmino bags the other; Wenger kicks a bottle in frustration and Algymoon finally recovers his lost meds.

Not at all. Win this and we're back in the top4, putting pressure on all the sides around us and our form is no longer worse than that of Crystal Palace. Lose it and we're bottom 3 in the form table, 6th in the league with many of the sides around us having a game in hand, we'd be 4 points away from top4 having played an extra game, players and managers will be criticized endlessly by both media and fans. Don't see us getting back from that; we don't have the players to deal with the disappointment of going from title contenders to potentially 2 points from 7th placed Everton in a couple of months.

Arsenal will know all of this, and they'll come into this one trying to make sure we don't win it. One thing is for certain, we need the points way more than they do.
