If memory serves me right, away goal counts after 90mins...
So if their is extra time and the score remains 1-1 then Southampton would go through.

This game takes on a whole new set of equations for us.
A few weeks ago I couldn't give a damn about this competition. But now it could really reignite our season.
But who wouldn't want yet another day out to our second home?
COME ON REDMEN!

Getting ready to set off this game is now massive and after a blip we always bounce back. Couts new contract is beauty news! The crowd has to be real vocal tonight and roar them on with hopefully dik out I can't see us losing we will have to much and overpower them. Matip back is our rock at the back think we have to slip lallana into the middle and put origi up top creating and stretching the game. Karius I think will start as he saved us in 1st leg and deserves just for that to keep his place. Anfield bound Cum on you REDS

Kind of game we normally win and Klopp talks of rhythm and we need that back tonight, if they bang one in first its a long way back but we are one of few clubs that historically can turn impossible situations around.

Just setting off for the game. After Saturday lads wish me luck !!
The prospect of stuffing the Scum at Wembley is too bigger prize to leave on the pitch !!

Looks like Lallana is back in midfield which is great news, not sure about Can starting ahead of Wijnaldum though. The club needs a lift so hopefully the lads can provide us with one tonight.
Come on reds let's make it 3 finals in 12 months!

Yep, thankfully we've abandoned that suicide midfield trio. Soton's defence looks weakened as well. Things looking good before kick off, hopefully we'll go through.

Way too predictable so far very easy for Southampton with Foster just catching couple long efforts, Karius just saved us there like first leg, really charmed life here.

Whats worrying me most is that we've not really shown any goal threat

It's slow, it's predictable, it's boring.. We are playing like robots the way we pass the ball. It's like it's a training drill over and over again with no one taking risks passing the ball forward or taking any gambles. We had a tiny section where we played 2 forward passes in a row, the ball went to Can with loads of space to run the ball forward, and he just automatically turned back and played it backwards and lost momentum.. He knew aswell because the crowd jeered him. We really need to take risks this half and be abit more adventurous.

It's sh!te mate.
Whatever has gone on with DS is a real shame as he is one of Europe's most naturally gifted finishers.
Firmino has had a couple of good touches. Away from that, he is more concerned on the amount of gel in his hair.
PS, needs to get over himself and his new contract and buckle down and play it simple.
AA, needs to stop bombing forward and be more disciplined like Milner.
A part from that, we doing great..! Aren't we?
