Sunderland v Liverpool Monday 2nd Jan KO 15:00

Sunderland were atrocious v Burnley and they haven't got the squad to cope with 2 games in 3 days. Expect Sunderland to raise their performance after their loss but they don't be able to live with us on our current form and I expect a fairly comfortable trip to be honest. See a comfortable 2/3-0 win here.

Klopp has momentum !! Moyseeeeeee has desperation !! Not sure which is more dangerous. I won't be happy unless we give them a damn good thrashing

43 hours between games isn't a lot so I can see us making quite a few changes for this one. I think Sturridge will deffo start and probably the likes of Lucas and Moreno too. What we mustn't do is think all the hard work is done and take our eye off the ball. Tomorrows game is massive, it's worth the same 3 points as the City game and to blow the chance to move within 3 points of Chelsea after all the hard work we put in against Boro, Everton, Stoke and City would be absolutely criminal.
Chelsea aren't going to throw points away cheaply, we've got to get as close as we can to them and put them under pressure. If we win up at the Stadium of Light Chelsea's game against Spurs on Wednesday suddenly becomes a lot tougher.
COYR.

After this we've got a little breather from EPl next big one will be on the 15th aganst Mancs.

Klopp will rotate slightly. I can see Studge starting this. Depending on Hendo fitness possibly will see mid of Can/Wij/Lallana.

I think Klopp will rotate the squad more in Fa and EFL cup. Both competitions coming up. Couts and Matip will hopefully get mins and get prepared for battle with Mancs.

Yup the way things are we just have to keep on winning. If Spurs manage to beat Chelsea and end of the month we beat the chav then we could be top of the prem by then.
These next few months will determine how this race will go.
We've got some crazy fixtures coming up from now till March.

Chelsea are on a good run but they are bound to drop points, its inevitable.

Most important game for us this season...
We as fans have got to learn and understand that the title is not won or lost in January.
We've done well so far this season and the team has put itself in a great place to remain competitive between now and May.

***Lets give LFC credit for this***

Today's match is a potential banana skin for so many reasons...
Moyes will be out to get us!
Sunderland are desperate for points!
2nd game in 48 hours!
At some point Sunderland will play a decent 90 mins - hopefully this won't be today.
----
Whatever the outcome - WE must now stick together - Whatever happens, lets not dream too big nor turn our season into a nightmare.
Let us all keep level headed and support our beloved LFC like we all know we can!
ONLY 100+% from as all between now and May will do...
----
COME ON RED MEN!!!

Klopps not messed about with team opting for what he calls rhythm, what a massive game though to put Chelsea under pressure.

Come on Liverpool no mucking it up today  :no

Only listening to this on the radio but it sounds quite an even game, in fact the commentators are saying that Sunderland are probably shading it. We need to get a grip.

Lucky not to be 2-1 down, sounds like Sunderland missed a one on one.

Sunderland really have a go now. The penalty has given them a massive boost. Hope we're not gonna panic and start fraying.
