Well, at least we know who our feeder club is going to sell us next. Virgil van Dijk, start packing your bags son.

On a serious note, only criticism I have is the late substitutes. Other than that we can't really complain, Southampton played a good game and we were very unlucky as well. It happens.

Not a single shot for Klarius to save

To be fair to Southampton, they looked pretty good defensively. Can't really blame them for being a bit defensively minded with them coming into it with a couple of defeats and us in the form we are in. We just lacked that sharpness but keeps the momentum going in the grand scheme of things and it's a clean sheet

It's actually to their credit though that they were able to keep buying these gems? Our scouting department hasn't been that great before Klopp's arrival...

We should be signing up their head of scouting...much cheaper in the long run

the reason i'm not completely on Firmino's bandwagon can be seen in the missed attempt by him. If one is a proper striker like Sturridge, Torres, Owen, Fowler, etc., 99 out of 100 times, one scores. He just needed to calmly slide the ball in at the near post.

Should have done better but anyhow we had this as a potential hiccup.
we move on!

Sounds like a point and move on, not our best but Southampton are a challenge no doubt about that.

City won but otherwise not too much damage and psychologically we stayed top so table still looks alright.

Van Dijk made headlines on social media a very impressive player, one I do like, but take a huge amount of money to get him out of there.

Someone needs to hire their head scout. For their downfall they will continue feeding their top players.

Our next 3 games are Sunderland (H), Bournemouth (A) and then West Ham (H). If we win all 3 then today's result will be forgotten.

Finishing was very poor. we could've easily had a couple of goals.

Im confident we will win all 3. Todays result is not bad. We should've won but atleast we came back with a draw and a clean sheet.
This or the Crystal palace match we knew will be tricky to get maximum points.

The commentators on the radio didn't quite convey just how bad a miss Clyne's header was at the end, I was expecting Firmino's miss to be bad (and it was) but f[vck] me how did Clyne not stick that away?
Anyway no use crying over spilt milk, a draw away at Southampton isn't the worst result especially coming off the back of an international break where some of our players had to travel halfway around the world (not to mention Lallana's injury).

Not the worst result but we were terrible up front, should have buried at least 2 chances by Firminho and Clyne.

Clyne is a very good RB but his finishing and final ball into the box is quiet limiting. His only real achilles heel.

You have to hand it to Klopp, most teams know they have to play cowardly boring defensive football to get a result against us. Parking the bus is the only way to prevent a 3 or 4 goal drubbing.

Mourinho did it and now Puel. Both very lucky to get away with draws.

The question is how will Klopp respond to these ultra defensive set-ups.
