A trip to derby in the league cup.
Derby are playing poor at the moment in the championship. I would expect nothing but a victory and progress to the next round.
I would like to see the team shuffled up, give some other lads a chance.

      Karius

Clyne Matip Klavan Moreno

    Lucas  Stewart
       Grujic

Mane            Ojo
       Origi

Ings needs a shot aswel so possibly bring him on second half.

Like that team but might be tempted to give Ings a run out and rest Mane

I'd like to see Ejaria get a game, got a lot of potential that lad.

Yup Ejaria would be a good shout. I would also consider resting Matip for Sakho. Mane for Ings would be good also, gives Sadio rest.

Woodburn on the subs bench.

.           Randell               Illori         Sakho               Moreno

I'd keep our back line as it is, but bring in Karius for Migs. I'd also like to see Ings get a run out, along with Grugic

                                             Karius

.           Cylne               Matip        Lovern               Milner

.                            Can                           Stewart
.                                           Grugic
.
.                 Ojo                     Ings                     Origi

He's back training, but wasn't fit enough to get into the squad on Friday.

Karius confirmed to start, will be nice to see him getting some minutes and building up some confidence

Until he broke his hand in pre season he was looking good and was probably ahead of Mingolet in the pecking order so as you say mate it's good to see him back and getting some game time.

Im glad there is more competition now. It will make guaranteed starters work on another level.

Klopp saying some interesting things about the goalkeeper situation.

“There is no No1 at this moment, there is no decision, it is just about performing and showing how good you are. For all players it is the same. I won’t say someone is our centre-half for the next 15 months. It is about performing and improving. Show how much you can help the team.”

Also praised Karius ahead of his debut: “He was a really strong Bundesliga goalkeeper and that means a lot. Germany is a goalkeeper country. We have no issue with goalkeepers. The best keeper in the world plays at Bayern Munich and is German. We have always had good ones, maybe not always the best in the world, but good ones."

If I was Migs, I'd be worried.... :buttrock

Competition for places is absolutely vital, players have got to know that if they don't give their all then they won't be playing the following week. That doesn't just apply for Mingolet that goes for everyone.
