So glad the league is back and the International friendlies are finally over so that we can concentrate on the final stages of the league run in.

With the last match against Southampton finally out of my head it's time to think about Spurs and the difficult task we face against a very in form side with Kane and Alli both on fire

On the injury front Moreno has passed himself fit, Sturridge seems to have come through as well, I read that because Coutniho is travelling back from Paraguay they will wait to see how he is, Firmino is certainly out and also it was reported last week that both Origi and Benteke both got injured with Belgium, Lucas is still out also

So if all others are fit I would go with something like this...

Mignolet, Flanagan, Sakho, Lovren, Clyne, Can, Henderson, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana, Sturridge

At home you always like to predict a victory, especially off the back of our last game, but would a draw be so bad against these ?

Tough match, Spurs can't afford to slip if they want to win the title.
I've got a feeling we will hand the title to Leicester.

Echo are now reporting that Divock Origi is set to be available, however as I already stated Firmino and Benteke both out and goes on to say Philippe Coutinho has shown no ill-effects after a gruelling 6,300-mile journey back to Merseyside from Paraguay

Think we may may not take too many risks in this one with one eye on the Dortmund tie.  Firmino won't be involved and think he may even be a bit careful with Coutinho and Sturridge to . Got a feeling this will end in a draw. Ordinarily I'd have this as a win to us but with spurs being more resolute these days and us having one eye on Dortmund, think it may fizzle out in a draw

Yep as good as Spurs have been all season, I think we will do them and literally hand Leicester the title.

If we manage to beat them and Leicester win their game they will go 8 points clear with 6 games left. Truly amazing scenario!

gruelling? flying with easyjet from barcelona to liverpool is gruelling, or flying anywhere with ryannair, or generally having to spend hours in airports every month. being pampered in executive class with a fully reclining bed-seat, on-demand entertainment system and fellatio from exotic air hostesses isn't.

Sounds like everything was agreed only for us to go back and try and reduce the original fee agreed. Good grief, considering he went for £5m, that really makes us look small time :(

Spurs will be playing for their lives, if we win, they'll probably lose the league. They'll be desperate to beat us and will throw everything forward. Lets hope Skittle isn't playing.

Wouldn't have risked Firmino anyway seeing as its a hamstring injury. Save him for Dortmund
