Like watching paint dry that, oh well, beat them at Anfield and we are through.

Truly abysmal game of football and we genuinely wanted to win looking at Klopps team selection.

Ausburg will be happy with that considering some of their key players missed tonight and one goal at Anfield its a big chance for them.

I don't care what Michael Owen says, 0-0 was a bad result for us. How I wish for johnbarnes score draw! We were marginally the better side, both sides had good chances, but we simply didn't create enough. Some great moments, but they were few and far between.

We really need to stop scoring 6 in a match.
Last time we did against Southampton resulted in a poor run of games.
Am hoping the same thing doesn't happen again.

Oh well. We got a draw and could of been a lot worse at the end.
We go again!

2nd half more bearable but overall yes pretty depressing stuff...Would rather have any of the youngsters+Allen over Can and Hendo this 2 are terrible or just plain boring...Germans are an ok team but if we up the tempo we should be able to beat them....Winning the competition considering the other teams playing and more then that our own quality is pretty impossible to imagine.

That midfield is just fkg awful - I mean depressingly bad. Failing to score against opposition like that is pathetic. Complete lack of motivation or interest. I despair !!! :help

Yep, the midfield we had a decade ago would have completely dominated that game, Coutinho and Firmino actually looked quite lively but they had no platform whatsoever to perform from. We took an absolute age to win the ball back and whenever we did get it back we ended up going mostly sideways and backwards.
For all their hard work Henderson and Milner just aren't good enough on the ball to play in central midfield for a top side and Can is a great prospect but he's nowhere near the finished article yet.

I won't take any European matches seriously until Klopp rebuilds the squad.
