In tonight's Echo Jurgen is basically saying the 9 point gap between us and City is probably too big to bridge so this compo represents our best chance of qualifying for next year's CL. He says we are going all out to win this.

Same team from the weekend, good call. Not a fan of that midfield but otherwise the team looks good and the forward line actually looks dangerous for a change.

I won't settle for a score draw. We need to win this. I want us to prioritise the EL, but for next week's game we have to rest key players before the League Cup Final. That means winning today. I trust our kids - they've proven themselves in recent weeks, so I'd be very happy to see some of them play next Thursday, but I don't want our progress in this competition resting on their shoulders.
