Every great chance we miss just gives confidence and hope to them. We're shooting ourselves in the foot here. That was a horrible shot in general. Was straight at the keeper.

Benteke looked so disappointed at the end and so he should.. 2 games he's been through 1on1 to kill a game off and he's failed to do it on both occasions.

We've won ugly but it's still a vital 3 points. We really need to buy some pace into this side..

Thank fook for that when Benteke missed that sitter like Saturday I thought we're not going to get away with that again luckily we did. Good Christmas 6 pts against teams that would of turned us over if Bodgers was still here spouting his BS. But that's the past onwards and upwards with the Normal One

After Watford we all called for the team to show fight. Two 1-0 hard fought scraps later I'd say that's a good reaction even if the performances haven't been brilliant.

It's not how good your good game is... It's how good your bad game is.
Our bad game is getting us 3 points.
WE GO AGAIN!

Yep, spot on, plus it wasn't all bad, I thought Sahko and Lovren did well.

Good way to finish out the year. I'll take that result after our recent run of form

Now Klopp needs to really get stuck into the transfer business and improve on the average squad left behind by Rodgers.

Six points over a festive schedule that has seen the teams in the top four (albeit from the annoyingly consistent Spudz ) drop points. We're now level on points with United and the unpredictability of this league is throwing freak results at us every week. The days when the top teams could expect three easy points from the lesser lights of this league are long gone ,and whoever wins this league is going to have to show the same level of conviction in every game .

I'm happy that we're not playing well , but picking up the points ,and I think Klopp has learnt quickly that to climb this league the overall performance is secondary to the importance of getting points on the board.

As for the game I thought our back four were excellent and Lovren and Sakho are developing a real understanding at the back ,its no secret that successful  teams are built on the kind of relationship the back four are building. However I think the sad part of tonight's game is its starting to look like the calls from Spain are starting to turn Coutinho's head , his play was bereft of invention and little thought for bringing others into play.

On a brighter note ,all the collative on that field worked their arses off for that result ,and ensured Benteke's strike was the winning  goal.

Have a Happy New Year fellas
