Benteke has had a lot of chances today, should have scored at least one by now.

He always did blow hot and cold, can go on a goal scoring run and then not score for an age, we really need danny back

we have been poor all game. seemed to lack ideas and still cant take a corner, worried that KLOPP  seemed to be stuck for ideas when it was 1-1 and even more worried he didn't change the type of play that wasn't working.

This game was always gonna be a biggest test for us since JK arrived.
JK will have learned more about the PL today than any other game and now knows the standard(s) we need to get too for all games.
Was a massive chance for us to make ground in the league. Honeymoon period over.
JK has his work cut out with all the injuries in the squad, thankfully international break now.
We come back stronger AND WE GO AGAIN!

That was definately an opportunity lost, we only had to beat Palace at home to be 6 points off the top of the table  :(
If one thing sums up the difference between the 60's/70's/80's and the 90's onwards it's back in the day we used to take these types of opportunities.

OK so the fans and especially the club owners will now be put on notice that we need do desperately need at least a couple of gamechangers in our team. Didn't watch the game as I'm travelling but this results bring many (incl me) back to earth and to realised that this squad is not close to good enough to mount any challenge anytime soon.

The Firmino for Can substitution was a bad one... Firmino should've come on for Ibe who has been giving away alot of possessions. We were prone to their counter attacks after Can left. Ibe was very good in the first half but he was dropping off badly in the 2nd...

I felt bad for Coutinho, he had a very good game and didn't give up till the end... but he was huffing and puffing out on the left... Klopp should have put Firmino and Lallana out wide and brought in Coutinho to the centre in the 2nd half... Saw some weaknesses in Klopp's decisions and tactics today... If BR was still in charge this forum would be like "Crystal Palace was there for the taken and the snake oil merchant blew it!"
