Good job Milner was there as captain firing the team up....

Oh wait, that never happened.

Let's play Firminio defensive even though he's a CAM and we already have 3 defensive midfielders behind him in Milner, Can and Lucas. Let's go further negative and play Ings (a striker) on the wing... another genius idea from bodgers!

It was an easy and effortless win for the scum’s, and it was very much expect shambles from the idiot BR’s team!  The season is almost over there is no chance for improvement under this idiot.
It was another hammering in second successive game!, BR’s team and tactics didn’t offer anything new, no fighting sprits, no idea, aimless long balls, no end product in final third… a dead team waiting to be beaten.  The Scum’s controlled the whole game with such ease and  BR’s team were never in the match.

Firmino is the most useless player in that team who doesn’t even worth £0.29p, he can’t tackle and chicken out of any tackle, he can’t take on any player in any part of the pitch, he can’t cover, and the free kick came about because he didn’t cover Clyne, when Clyne got undone!  HE IS f*cking Sh*t Period. It is really a crime on LFC part to buy such useless player for £29M!!!!

BR has spend millions this season, and we are having the same performances and results as of last season, the future looks very bleak this season than last season, I can’t see no hope whatsoever unless those ***** the owners of LFC make a positive move which it is very much over due to sack this c*nt of a manager who has really destroyed LFC over the past three seasons.
For sure the dark days are ahead for BR & LFC.

That was one hell of a strike lads  :nod Technically perfect and you would want to be a right miserable sod not to celebrate that  :nod

Wasn't that excited when Ben scored the cracker though was he?

Anyway, anyone got a link from the analysis by Carra on Sky, really interested in what he has to say.

I suppose it was down to it being the lads debut and all that but he did give benteke credit also. They were 2 great individual goals.

Dude....I agree with you on BR. But as for Firmino...he is the real deal. He is good. But like all players coming from a differen slower league, we need to either :
a)Be careful with him and bring him on the 2nd half so that he can ease into this league
b)Play him in his proper position (ie....as a number 10 or as a Right forward who don't have to defend).

Rodgers cannot go on picking %hit like lovern and then expect Ings and Firmino to defend for him ? That is utterly pathetic.

Pathetic performance. We didn't want to win that game. That's the worst united team I can remember and we actually made them look good.

The ongoing selection of Lovren is baffling, as is the persistence with 4-3-3 despite not having the personnel for it. We played it long far too often and frankly it was like watching a Tony Pulis team.

We simply have to go to a diamond with two strikers from now on because it's the formation that suits our players best imo.

3 goals in 5 games and 2 defeats already. 6 conceded in the last 2 games. Rodgers has to start coming up with answers soon. If it wasn't for Chelsea having such a 'mare and Van Gaal's odd behaviour and mixed results after spending a quarter of a billion, the media would be all over Rodgers. At the moment they have other things to write about and that might buy him time to get it right. Whether he can is another question.

Can't make it show so just click on the link. Yes, a very "neutral" commentator indeed.

This is some of the worst football I can remember seeing from any Liverpool side, Hodgson was extremely negative and cautious but at least he didn't resort to hoof ball.
That first half display was atrocious, and let's face it if United hadn't have scored when they did we would have played the same way second half too, we aren't playing football we are playing anti-football.
How can we be sending £20m AM's out on loan when we look so devoid of idea's going forward? How come our best CB is sat on the bench when we've just conceded 6 goals in 2 games?

I didn't watch the post match interview, gone past caring. Are you serious, is this what he said? if so, it begs the question,  which planet does he currently reside on, cause it ain't Earth.

The whole team is totally shambollic. BR will never get the best out of the players with his tactical genius. Why oh why did FSG not make the necesssary mangerial changes in the summer!

Very disheartening performance. Bentekes goal wss absolutely brilliant but the high from that was short lived.

There is no pace in this team. No one that can carry the ball 40-50 yards. Poor Benteke was feeding on scraps and ending up dropping deep to get involved.

Most of all, there is no characters in this team. Just see no one who can get players going and dig in when needed and turn thing's around when things are not going our way

We ground out results v Stoke and Bournemouth without looking particularly great. First half v Arsenal was very good but these last two games were abject.

Same in our house as well, once the final whistle went we turned over. Couldn't be @rsed listening to Rodgers and couldn't be @rsed watching United's goals over and over again either.
