Would you take a draw now if it were offered ?

I would, any draw away at the likes of United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea is a decent result.

I can not see us losing this game

The stage will be set and the oppurtunity given to Firmino to show us what he can do in the absence of Coutinho

Rooney is going to have a Boner over breaking the england record and alot of attention will be on him

Yakka i would agree with draws being a fantastic result against the likes of Citeh united Chelsea and Arsenal away however when you lose 3-0 AT HOME to a team like West ham united it puts pressure on getting more points against the better teams

I'd go for this:

                                            Mignolet

                        Clyne       Skrtel      Sakho      Moreno

                                             Lucas
                                   Milner          Can

                                           Frimino

                                     Ings         Benteke

I don't expect Lovren to be dropped though, even after proving that he'll always be prone to stupid mistakes that are unforgivable at the top level. I also don't expect Gomez to be dropped either, and I'm sure the mancs will target him the most. And for the record, I'd take a draw.

I think we have to play each game on its own merits mate, at least at this stage of the season.
The way I look at it is if we can draw away at the likes of Old Trafford and then eek out a win at Anfield in the return fixture then we'll have taken 4 points to their 1 in head to head match ups against the top sides.
That's the theory of it anyway, it doesn't always work in practise but a draw away at a top 4 club is never a bad result in the grand scheme of things.

I think he is only playing Ings because Aldo said he should
I agree though that we should play 2 up front as Benteke is struggling on his own but it depends on what role Ings is given. They should be let attack freely and let the rest pick up the defensive aspect of our play. If they are sent out and expected to be defending in our own half then I wouldn't expect us to carve out many chances. Personally I would have dropped Lovren as I can see feilani crushing him and I think gomez will be targeted for having no left foot. This will also be a good game to have a good look at Firmino. I have been a bit underwhelmed by him so far so hopefully he will show today that he really is a quality player.

Would a draw be a good result ?
I think points are important but so are performances and we are due one  :nod There is no reason to not to look for all 3 points as they are struggling and well beatable so it will be a fook up on our part if we settle for 1 before K.O.

Lovren starting again? At this point I'm inclined to believe it's all about some major d sucking, literal or otherwise. Hopefully the heavens are kind today on Lovren and his brain is somehow screwed right today.  :upside:
