This game is kind of a nuisance tbh, as we have a massive match with Everton on saturday
I would really like to see BR give the youth a chance here, Jordan Ibe and Jordan Rossiter should really be getting there chances, the like of Balotellli and Allen should be back in there
Also might be an idea to try Sturridge for an hour with Balo, see how they fair as a pair

Considering the top teams in the league are already out this cup becomes top priority for us ,play your strongest lineup. BTW i think Ibe is cup tied...

@ danish red, i like the look of that team, but i think SG will be back based on comments BR has made, would love to see Rossiter start this

If Gerrard is fit then prob replace Sterling
Rossiter could possibly start in place of Can - shame that Ibe cup tied but possibly see Ojo or Sinclair on the bench

Let's just play a strong team, get a couple ahead and then sub players in the 2 nd half, no messing about, SG wants this cup this season and we should go all out to see he leaves on a high

Do we start Gerrard against Bolton or in the Derby on Saturday? Can't see him starting both.

Derby on Saturday so it’s imperative that we save some players for that. I’d go for:
Mignolet
Can Lovren Sakho
Manquillo Allen Henderson Enrique
Lallana Markovic
Borini
Subs: Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho, Lucas, Johnson, Skrtel, Jones

At his pre-match press conference from Melwood on Monday ahead of the game, Rodgers was asked whether Gerrard is available to make his 700th appearance.
The manager said: "Yes, he's fine. He trained great this morning. I've got to look at the risk as well, and how tight his hamstring was after the game. It was 120 minutes.
"We measure the recovery process and look at that. If it's too much of a risk we feel, like you saw on Saturday we have got other players to come in and we can just manage that recovery process for him individually.
"Then it allows him to maybe miss the game, have a bridging session - like he did yesterday and came into the session today and was outstanding, with no ill effects - and then prepares him for the game on Wednesday, if selected."

We need to win but we also need to rest a few, there's no way the players will endure the following period if they play every game. Some of them look tired already! I'd go with a mixed team:
Mignolet
Manquillo Skrtel Lovren
Markovic Hendo Allen Johnson/Enrique
Gerrard Lallana
Lambert
A 3-4-2-1 that will function as a 4-4-1-1 considering the players. We won't be able to rely on pressing too much if we play like this so we'll need to go for more possession and hope that our forward trio will take it's chances. Sturridge will get 30 minutes whatever the result (according to BR) so maybe we'll just have to concentrate on not conceding for 60 minutes and then go for them when he comes in

We don't need to rest anyone. FA cup is one of our channels to European football next year (if god forbid we miss on the CL) and it's a cup ,considering Chelsea/City/Spurs are already out we need to give it all we got.

Some are calling for players to be rested.
I'm not sure that's a good idea in a replay against a side that held us at our place
