I just worry how many of the players that played 120 minutes against the chavs will have enough left in the tank for West Ham, this is going to be a really hard game, but with a win we can go above them

Balotelli (in my opinion) should get nowhere near this match and fingers crossed Daniel will be unchained and fit and ready for this

Also will Sakho be fit to play, or will it be Johnson or Lovren in his place - this is concerning

According to the Echo, Sakho is likely to miss this match, so it's Lovren or Johnson, think BR will go with Johnson though

That is a definite blow, when he went off we looked no where near as solid.
His ariel ability would have been handy against Carroll too.

Bit worried about this one with the extra minutes we played midweek. Fat sam's brand of kick and rush, physical football is not ideal to play against after having played 120 mins midweek and they have also been in decent form. Team may need a little tinkering, but it's a home game and one we should be winning

Hoping Danny starts this one as well as lallana and Lovren. Dont want Johnson anywhere near the line up.

Sakho claims he’s back in training tomorrow. Whether he’ll make Saturday or not remains to be seen. BR should confirm at 2pm

Mignolet

Can
Skrtel
Sahko/Lovren

Markovic
Henderson
Lucas
Moreno

Gerrard
Sterling
Coutinho

Subs
Ward
Manquillo
Johnson
Lallana
Sturridge

Not many changes ease Sturridge back into action

This match will be more tougher than Chelsea game, we need to win this game so badly and make ground on the teams above us, so far none of them is losing ground, and we are quite a long behind due to very bad start which we lost too much ground to make BR had no clue earlier, and he still worry me a lot about his system and team selection!!

I hope BR does not play Johnson in system of 3 CB simply because he is very bad defender!! and he will make mistakes every game. Lallana, Lambert should really start, but not the useless Manquillo or the light weight Markovic, however if Sturridge is fit that will big plus!. A win is need at all cost.  Good Luck lads

Sturridge hasn't played since September - going to be nowhere near match fit - throwing him straight into the starting line up would be a bit mad

Personally would give Studge last 20-30 minutes, then against Bolton and hour and then full 90 minutes for the derby match

I dont see why managers do it.

He has played in 3 reserve games btw.

If he can play any part then play him from the start get the win in the bag and take him off

It certainly wont be easy ,and quelling the threat of Downing who will in all probability be fired up ,will be essential ..Contrary to reports the Hammerz are still
a very physical side so winning the battle in midfield will be a key component in stagnating their threat in supplying the Big man.

I would personally start with the physical presence of Balotelli up front and play Gerrard in the hole behind ,the two seem to link up well ,and look like they're on
a similar wavelength ....I'm actually praying Johnson isn't presented with another opportunity to stain another shirt with his disinterest ,and Sakho makes this game.

I think we will see Sturridge introduced just past the 70th minute
