Sterling clearly cannot play as a center striker. He can't operate in tights spaces, he needs to run onto the ball. If Suarez were playing in Sterling's position today, he'd have 6 goals already.

Too many changes in one go, we've seen today with other results what happens, better off getting a couple of goals and then make changes, it games like this we end up struggling to perform and bring on the players we were supposed to be resting in any case.

How do you expect to score without a striker?

Fair play to the performance, the lads look up for it to be fair, but we look like a sword without a pointy end without a striker. We've made Bogdan look world class ffs.

***** sakes, all that running for nothing. Would have rather lost than have a reverse fixture.

I reckon a few players like Coutinho, Lallana and Sterling were suffering from a hangover from Tuesday and had an eye on the next game

Never want a loss, we will turn them over at Bolton, should have paid more attention to this game though

Yes we didn't need a player to harass their back just someone who could find the net, Lambert would probably have scored that header Borini had

Keeper has nothing to do with it we were very poor in execution pretty embarrassing stuff but it all goes back to the original sin of not having a striker. Borini should never play again it's just beating a corpse play Lambert play academy but stop this farce. The quality mf were wasteful as never before...oh well hopefully will have a striker in the next game
