Just saw the penalty appeal again, it was a shocking decision from the ref, couldn't be anything other than 100% a pen.

Tactically we are winning total control of the tempo and possession mf especially Lucas playing well defense solid but....We must score Gerrard and Borini are killing us with their impotence ..the catch? We can't replace them with Mario which would kill our pressing game...let's hope they are able to deliver second half playing the wind.

We are playing really well but we are only one goal ahead and as we saw against Leicester even a 2 goal lead is not insurmountable against us. After getting boo'ed off at half time Sunderland are bound to come out fired up as well so this game is nowhere near done yet.
Borini needs to stay on his feet as well, the last thing we need here is to let them back into the game via a silly red.
Some really nice performances in that first half though, especially from Markovic and Coutinho.
