Our inability to defend set pieces is a bit shocking, really.
They've deserved it more than we have tho. We just don't look like doing anything.

We were playing good attacking football last season, and pressing high up the pitch etc etc. You don't need LS to press high up the pitch. BR attended a Bielsa conference where he became inspired to play the attacking football, this season, he's forgotten everything he learn't at that conference and more. We are wasting so much energy just chasing the ball. What a difference a season makes. BR has must surely see that this formation just doesn't work for us. 2 up front please

But how can you explain such a pathetic individual display of so many players? They look a shadow of themselves. All the tactics in the world can't solve total lack of confidence and resolve.

Our passing in general has been awful today, and Sterling has been horrible. The kid needs a rest as he's basically played non-stop since the season began. We couldn't get a foul if we paid the ref either at this point.

I can't, they are all awful. I was merely point something out about the style of play last season. However, if we pressed high up the pitch instead of inviting pressure, i'm pretty sure we would have scored by now
