Not an easy start, but we have to play those teams at some point so let's bring them on  :buttrock

....Chance for sweet revenge, Chelsea and Palace again in the final 3 matches

Might be a good time to play spurs. Whilst the manager is still trying to implement his style

I see United have got a tough start  :glare:
First decent team they play is Everton in October.
They have got a tough run in though.
We'll be doing well to be front runners this season with that fixture list. As Woof points out 3 of our first 6 games are against City, Spurs and Everton and 2 of those are away from home. Southampton (even at Anfield) isn't the easiest of starts either.

Not moaning, but it's always good to get off to a good start, breeds confidence etc and if you remember we got no points from two of those first three fixtures last term.

that time already  :buttrock
fancy us to beat soton and spurs due to them bedding in new managers and a draw away to city would be a fantastic result.
all in all it could have been worse and if we can come out the other side of those games with 7 points we will be in good stead, worse case scenario 6 points.
now all we need to do is get some quality in  :nod

Decent Christmas run next season, last season really hurt us.

I'm not trying to be all pessimistic, or acting as if Suarez is already gone, but just a thought- if he does leave we will likely have a few new first-team players that will need to imbed in, and the last thing we want is to have a tough start because it likely won't get us a lot of points.

So let's just hope he stays and we should hit the ground running, especially with the majority of our team well-rested after early world cup exits.
