That really is the way to throw the title away. Agreed we looked a bit tired and burnt out throughout, but we put in a good performance, and as Carra says when our third went in we were all thinking about getting to 6 or 7. When it was 3-1 the players and the manager should have reacted faster. That was the time to shut up shop. Agger should have come on and Stevie and Lucas shut up the midfield. Having said that the number of errors for the goals was almost unthinkable. Johnston was so slow to get out, Coutinho should have taken the player out, Johnston again did nothing, Flanno had one player to mark and failed completely, Skrtel came out and missed the ball..... it goes on and on. The players were out on their feet in the last fifteen minutes.

Rodgers has been immense and I've no problem with the way we played for the Chelsea game but the Moses sub was a huge mistake. The sad think is we could have had eight today as well.

Last 15 minutes it was as though someone had turned the switch off. Just suddenly looked drained mentally and physically and as Carra said, the last thing you want to be doing in that situation is dropping deep and inviting them on, especially against  a Pulis side

Skrtel had a man in front of him and a man behind him, he couldn't let a player receive the ball unopposed at the edge of our area so he tried to challenge him. How could our midfield leave one of our CB's in a 2 against 1 situation?

Not denying the midfield didnt there job but Skrtel chose to do was absolutely ridiculous, he completely vacated his position and left the free man with acres of space in the box to put it in the net. Absolute school boy stuff

If he carried a crystal ball around with him on the pitch and could foresee that the Palace player was going to flick it on then I'm sure he would have held his position, but otherwise he had no option but to go and close down that player.
He was left in a situation where he was trying to cover 2 men on his own, Sakho was marking someone himself so he couldn't help, where were our 2 holding midfielders?

I cant understand how you can try to justify such an obvious error by Skrtel , it was a complete lack of positional sense and discipline

I want to throw up all over our defence  :Oo:

Lets get one thing straight, we didn't lose the title here, we lost our dignity to say we could match it with the champions with an inferior team and we were unlucky to lose it on goal difference. Can't even say we were unlucky, we gave up in the end, right at the end

Warning bells have been sounding all season, our defence & midfield needs culling,

Johnson
Skrtel
Lucas
Allen
Toure
Cissohko

The lot of them can all fook off, they should join Aspas, Alberto, Moses with the clean out.

For god sake Rodgers don't be a naive fool and buy a whole host of attacking players and try to outscore every opponent. Titles are won in defence, Don't make the same mistakes as Arsenal and neglect it.

I'm guessing that you're the only person on this forum that has used this calculator to calculate the points gap rather than calculating the probability of City drawing 2 games in a row; OR losing a game by 18:00 Sunday.

Perhaps you have also forgotten Man City are heavily resourced leading up to the last two games playing against two teams that have nothing to play for this season, and both games are played at the Ethiad. We therefore rely on an outside miracle. City losing a game is easy said, but unlikely to occur.

Johnson needs to pack his bags ASAP

Although it seems unlikely we still have a chance.

one of the most disappointing results I can remember as a Red...I knew as soon as they clawed back to 3-2 that we were doomed. BR needs to learn from this and sort the defence the f**k out.

So what your saying is that even if we had won last night then city would still win the league as they will win their two games.
